 Last year we had 34 golfers for the First Annual St. Jude Scramble, and because of it's success and the positive response from all who participated, we decided to do it again! The golf outing last year, along with the many generous donations from those that could not attend, allowed us to raise over $ 3,600 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
We have two new members to Team VP Rods, my brother Chris and his wife Shannon. They will be helping in our fundraising effort along with running the Chicago Marathon themselves. We have set a team goal of raising $4,500, and with your support we expect to exceed this goal.
The 2011 St. Jude Scramble will take place at Arrowhead Golf Course, 26W151 Butterfield Rd. Wheaton, IL. It will take place on Saturday, August 27. First tee off will be at 12:30 PM. Cost: $125.00 per golfer. Included with your $125 ticket:

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been doing wonderful work since 1962 in the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. St. Jude is a place where parents can focus on their children and not worry about the cost of treatment. Because of people across the country who decide to raise money and help fund St. Jude, no child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.
